Changing my Life in 28 Days – Part 1

7. Januar 2025

von Emil Aarup

Over the past few months, I’d been feeling unmotivated and somewhat lazy. I wasn’t accomplishing what I needed to and lacked the drive to push forward. To break this cycle, I set out to change my life in just 28 days by taking on a series of challenges. My goal was to establish better habits and, hopefully, inspire others to do the same.

The plan involved several key commitments: going to bed at 10 PM and waking up at 7 AM, learning a new skill every week, going on an adventure, exercising five days a week, always showing up on time for my appointments and more things. To make it more interesting, I added a twist: I had two “lives” to lose. If I failed twice before December 1st, I’d have to shave my head as a penalty. This made the challenge more exciting and fun to follow.

The content was divided into four videos, each covering a week of the journey, from Monday to Sunday. I edited the videos using DaVinci Resolve, which I’ve always found reliable and well-suited to my skill set. In this first video, I share my initial experiences and reflections. My skill for the week was learning to whistle, and my adventure was hiking the Rote Platte, which rises 1,500 meters above sea level.
